Please book a separate appointment for each person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Appointment types<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard<\/strong> (10 minutes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Long<\/strong> (20 minutes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prolonged<\/strong> (40 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Book a <strong>long<\/strong> appointment for complex matters (e.g. mental health discussion or plan, care plans, multiple issues, procedures). Additional fees may apply (see <strong>Fees &amp; billing<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Telehealth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phone\/telehealth is available to <strong>eligible patients<\/strong> who have attended the practice <strong>face\u2011to\u2011face in the past 12 months<\/strong> and hold Medicare\/eligible OSHC\/OVHC. (Some services are not claimable by telehealth.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Arriving &amp; check\u2011in<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please bring photo ID and any <strong>Medicare\/OSHC\/OVHC<\/strong> details (digital cards accepted). New patients, arrive <strong>10 minutes early<\/strong> to complete registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Running late \/ cancellations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If running late (up to <strong>20 minutes<\/strong> maximum), please <strong>call us<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To cancel or reschedule, please give <strong>\u226524 hours\u2019 notice<\/strong> (call during business hours or reply <strong>NO<\/strong> to the reminder SMS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>$40 fee<\/strong> may apply for late cancellations (&lt;24 hrs) or <strong>no\u2011shows<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Emergencies &amp; triage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patients with appointments are prioritised; urgent medical needs are triaged first. Thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>During the consultation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please raise all relevant questions (e.g. medical certificates, referrals, travel advice, results explanations) <strong>with your clinician<\/strong>. To protect your privacy, reception cannot discuss clinical information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Before you leave<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out at reception to finalise any payments, sign pathology forms (if needed), collect your cards, and make any follow\u2011up bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Clinical services available<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Family &amp; preventive health<\/strong>: routine GP care, health assessments (40\u201349 years; &gt;75 years), risk assessment and screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Women\u2019s health &amp; family planning<\/strong>: contraception counselling, <strong>IUD<\/strong> insertion\/removal, <strong>Implanon<\/strong> insertion\/removal, <strong>medical termination of pregnancy<\/strong> (by appointment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Vaccinations<\/strong>: all routine child &amp; adult vaccines; travel vaccines including <strong>Yellow fever<\/strong>, <strong>Q fever<\/strong>, <strong>Gardasil 9<\/strong> (book ahead).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u9752\u5c11\u5e74\u5065\u5eb7\u7ba1\u7406<\/strong> and student health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sexual health<\/strong>: STI screening, PrEP advice, management and counselling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skin health<\/strong>: skin checks, cryotherapy, minor procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Travel health<\/strong>: pre\u2011travel consults and vaccines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aviation medicine<\/strong>: CASA examinations and medical certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Iron infusions<\/strong> for iron deficiency (booking &amp; fees apply).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chronic disease care<\/strong>: GP management plans &amp; reviews; coordinated care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mental health<\/strong>: assessments, mental health treatment plans and reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Practice nursing &amp; diagnostics<\/strong>: ECG, Holter, spirometry, ear microsuction, audiometry, wound care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On\u2011site pathology<\/strong> and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Allied health<\/strong>: <strong>dietitian<\/strong> and <strong>diabetes educator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Specialist doctor:<\/strong> general surgeon and colorectal specialist<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(Service availability varies by clinician. For clinically urgent or significant results, your doctor may contact you and\/or arrange an earlier review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recalls &amp; reminders:<\/strong> We use an SMS\/phone\/letter system (via Healthengine) to support preventive care and follow\u2011up. Tell your doctor if you wish to <strong>opt out<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Home visits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>regular patients<\/strong> with significant mobility or health issues preventing attendance, a <strong>home visit<\/strong> may be considered. Please call reception to discuss suitability, availability and fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Telephone &amp; electronic communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doctors generally <strong>cannot take calls<\/strong> during consultations. Reception will take details and interrupt only for urgent matters. Limited clinical communication may occur by secure electronic means where appropriate; routine clinical advice is not provided by email.
