Steps to process Medicare Non BB patients 

Check-in procedure

• Any changes on home address and phone number 
• Medicare eligibility 
• MyMedicare 
• Informing the full fee 

• New patient: $135 (in general)
• Existed patient: $95 (in general)

• Let patient tap their bank card 
• Keep two receipts (merchanic copy and customer copy), write down patient name and leave on the side 
• Place patient into waiting 

After seeing the doctor 

• Double checking the amount showing on PC is matching with the fee paid previously
  • Different ways to process Medicare rebate
    • HICAP rebate manually – Most easiest and fastest way that patient can get rebate, but we normally don’t do this cause of efficiency unless patient asking for.
    • Sending patient’s billing to Medicare via
      • Easy Claim
      • Print patient claim form
      • Print Medicare claim form
• Submit claim for Medicare

• In the case that Dr charged extra for the consultation, reception required to use HICAP to go to Transaction > Refund $95 > Let Patient tap the bank card 
• After that, charge new payment again
