$50 Gap Fee – First Visit of Each Calendar Year (Medicare / BB / OSHC)

Are you aware of our $50 gap fee for the first visit of each calendar year?

After this gap fee is paid, your standard weekday appointments for the rest of 2026 will be bulk billed.
This $50 gap fee will apply again at your first visit in 2027.

$50 Gap Fee for Each Visit (OVHC / CBHS)

OVHC

  • Are you aware that there is a $50 gap fee for every visit?
  • For patients holding OVHC, our clinic charges a $50 consultation gap fee, as bulk billing is only available for students, children, Medicare card holders, and concession card holders.
  • This fee applies to doctor appointments only. Nurse appointments are bulk billed.
  • Would you like to pay by cash or card? Please note that a payment surcharge applies. I will then check your insurance eligibility.

CBHS

  • Are you aware that there is a $50 gap fee for each visit?
  • For patients holding CBHS, our clinic charges a $50 consultation gap fee because this new clinic does not currently have a CBHS agreement.
  • If you prefer not to pay this fee, you may attend our original clinic, where standard weekday appointments are bulk billed for CBHS patients. The address is Level 1, 253 Lonsdale Street.
  • As this appointment has already been booked at this clinic, if you decide to cancel, a $40 cancellation fee will apply.

Vaccination

  • The vaccine cost today will be [state amount].
  • Insurance coverage may vary depending on your provider, so we cannot guarantee full or partial reimbursement. However, I can provide you with an invoice so you can submit a claim yourself.
  • After your appointment, please return to reception so I can assist with claiming the consultation fee through your insurance.

Medicare – New Patients (NB)

  • Upfront Payment: We will take an initial payment today ($95 for existing patients / $135 for new patients).
  • Doctor’s Review: After your consultation, the final fee may change if the doctor spends additional time with you or performs a procedure.
  • Medicare Claim: Once you finish, please come back to reception. I will submit the Medicare claim for you using our terminal.
  • Receiving Your Rebate: You will need to swipe your Medicare card and then tap your bank card. Medicare usually deposits the rebate into your account within 24 hours.

Please take a seat, and the doctor will call you shortly.
